Library Services Are Again Available to HRSA Employees

HRSA employees once again have access to library services thanks to a new partnership with the Food and Drug Administration, another HHS agency.

HRSA employees in Parklawn are welcome to use the FDA Biosciences Library on the 11th floor at the end of the building’s B wing (room 11B-40), Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Employees also can go online on HRSA’s Intranet site and access library services all day, everyday. The link to the library is in the top banner: “FDA Biosciences Library.”

The library will provide access to both electronic and print materials. Items not owned by the library can be ordered through Interlibrary Loans using the library’s online document request system. Professional librarians are available to research and prepare information customized to meet your needs. The library staff keeps current with key HRSA initiatives and is trained to provide answers to brief as well as complex research questions.

Heather Hopkins is the main point of contact in the library for HRSA employees, and Sasha Pivowar is responsible for delivering documents online to HRSA employees who make requests.
